A Day on the Land with Uncle Aubrey
For children ages 5-7
Come experience a day on the farm with Uncle Aubrey. This year’s theme will be For the love of Sticks! Together we will explore the abundance of the natural world as we play, harvest the fruits from the land, and experience the process of creation with our hands through art and nature crafts. This is a 4 day camp, held twice a week in June on Wednesdays and Fridays.
It is an important component of individual development to have opportunities to connect with the Earth. Developing a relationship to the natural world, based on reverence and reciprocity is essential to our development as human beings. The children will be held in a strong balanced rhythm of coming together to explore and create, and breathing out, to run on the farm, play, grow friendships and enjoy moments of timelessness. A container of trust and care will be the foundation of our time together.

Reflections from Parents:
“Both of my daughters participated in different age-specific camps with Etta Mae and Uncle Aubrey this past summer (2024). I had always heard good things about Etta Mae and Uncle Aubrey’s offerings, but the creations and feedback I received from my children was beyond my expectations! Both daughters came home from camp each day excited and eager to share what they had done that day. Communication was clear and I felt that I was leaving my girls in a safe and supportive environment in the most magical of settings! They learned things that I wish I knew how to do! I will be looking out for all future opportunities at the Center of Creativity, and am grateful for their commitment to our keiki and community”.
